Montessori Teacher Training

A practical, interactive three-month training course for teachers, caregivers and early childhood education enthusiasts. Taught live online by Miss Nargis Irfan, with mentor guidance, assignments and continuous monitoring, and a MindCare Services Certificate at the end.

The MindCare Services® three-month online Montessori Teacher Training Course

Three months, online, with a certificate at the end

A child who will not put their shoes on is not being difficult. A three-year-old who screams when the bread is cut the wrong way is not being unreasonable. From inside their own head, both are behaving perfectly logically, and almost everything that goes wrong in an early-years room or a family morning comes from missing that.

Maria Montessori's whole method rests on one habit: watch the child before you correct the child. Over three months we build that habit properly, put the developmental psychology underneath it, and then work through the Montessori curriculum itself, so you finish able to set up an environment and present it the way it is meant to be presented.

One question per month, answered properly

Each month stands on the one before it: see the child, understand the child, then set up the environment the child can actually work in.

01

Decoding the Child's Perspective

Before any method, any material and any correction, there is one skill: seeing the situation the way the child is seeing it. The first month is spent learning to look.

  • The fundamentals of Montessori education, from the ground up
  • The world from three feet tall: what a child actually perceives
  • The absorbent mind and the sensitive periods, in plain language
  • Behaviour as communication: reading the need under the tantrum
  • Structured observation, the skill every Montessori guide starts with
02

Early Childhood Psychology

What is actually happening inside a child in the first six years, from attachment and temperament to language, movement and the long work of learning to self-regulate.

  • Attachment, temperament and why two children in one house differ so much
  • Language, movement and the developing brain, birth to six
  • Regulation and co-regulation: calming a child by first calming yourself
  • Normal variation vs. genuine red flags, and when to seek an assessment
  • Managing a group: routines, transitions and the difficult mornings
03

The Montessori Curriculum in Practice

The hands-on month. You will present exercises rather than only watch them, starting with practical life, the most underestimated shelf in any Montessori classroom and the easiest to recreate at home.

  • Why practical life comes first: concentration, coordination, independence, order
  • Presenting an exercise: slow hands, few words, and the art of stepping back
  • Care of self, care of the environment, and grace & courtesy
  • An introduction to the sensorial, language and number materials
  • Building a Montessori shelf at home or in class, on a real budget

What the three months give you

The fundamentals, properly

Montessori education taught from the ground up, so you understand why the method works rather than only what to put on the shelf.

Child behaviour and development

The psychology of the first six years, taught by a clinical team that assesses and treats children every week.

Hands-on Montessori activities

Exercises you present yourself, with presentation scripts and a shelf-setup plan you can build without importing anything.

Teaching skill and confidence

Assignments and continuous monitoring across the full three months, so the feedback lands while you can still use it.

A certificate that helps your career

An optional MindCare Services® Certificate in your name on completion, for your CV, your school file or your own record.

Notes you keep

The complete written course material as a PDF, if you add it: theory, activity bank, charts and scripts, yours to print and keep.

How the course actually runs

Live sessions

Real classes at fixed times with a trainer in the room with you, not recordings you watch alone. Join from anywhere in Pakistan or abroad.

Mentor guidance

Questions answered between sessions, and the specific situation in your classroom or at home talked through rather than left general.

Assignments

Short practical tasks each month, marked and returned, so what you learn gets tried on a real child rather than only noted down.

Continuous monitoring

Your progress is tracked across the three months, and if you fall behind someone notices and tells you, which is the point of a small batch.

Miss Nargis Irfan

The course is led throughout by Miss Nargis Irfan, who takes every live session, sets and marks the assignments, and keeps track of how each participant is progressing across the three months.

Batches are kept small on purpose. A trainer who is expected to notice when you are struggling can only do that for so many people at once, and month three is hands-on, which does not work in a crowd.

Who this is for

Teachers

Montessori directresses, playgroup and daycare staff, and anyone running a room full of three-year-olds with more instinct than training.

Caregivers

Grandparents, nannies and anyone else who spends whole days with a small child and wants to do it with more understanding.

Parents

Especially of under-sixes. You will leave with a different read on the behaviour you were about to punish, and a shelf you can build at home.

Education & psychology students

Developmental theory with the practical half attached, and a certificate to show for three months of work.

Seats are capped because month three is hands-on, and the course starts on 15 September 2026.

Three months not workable? The same ground runs as a three-day certificate in Karachi: Mind in the Making →

What this certificate is, and what it isn't

It is a three-month training course with a MindCare Services® Certificate: a genuine working understanding of the child, the developmental psychology underneath the Montessori method, and a Montessori environment you can set up and present properly.

It isn't an AMI or AMS diploma, and on its own it does not qualify you to run a Montessori classroom. It is also not therapy or an assessment for your child, though if month two raises something worth looking at, our clinical team in Karachi does exactly that work.

Frequently Asked Questions

The registration fee is PKR 2,500 and that is the only compulsory payment: it covers all three months of live sessions, mentor guidance, assignments and monitoring. Two extras are optional, the course notes as a PDF at PKR 1,000 and the MindCare Services® Certificate at PKR 3,500, so the most anyone pays is PKR 7,000. Nothing is added later.

Yes. Transfer the amount to our Meezan Bank account, take a screenshot of the transfer, and attach it to the registration form. The account title, number and IBAN are on that page with a copy button beside each. Your seat is confirmed once we have matched your payment to your form, and we will message you if anything does not add up.

Yes. Both are optional and neither has a deadline: tick them on the form if you already know you want them, or message us during the course and we will send you the payment details then.

The next batch starts on 15 September 2026 and runs for three months. Class days and timings go to registered participants before the start date, and we set them around the batch rather than announcing them cold.

Yes. Every session is live and online, so you can join from anywhere in Pakistan or from abroad. They are real classes with a trainer present, not pre-recorded videos, and the joining link goes out to registered participants.

Miss Nargis Irfan leads the course from start to finish: she takes the live sessions, sets and marks the assignments, and monitors how each participant is progressing.

Teachers, caregivers and early childhood education enthusiasts: Montessori directresses, playgroup and daycare staff, education and psychology students, parents of under-sixes, and anyone who spends their days with children under six. You do not need a Montessori background, a teaching job or a psychology degree to follow it, as everything is taught from the ground up.

No, and we would rather be clear about that than let anyone assume. This is a three-month training course with a Certificate issued by MindCare Services®. It is not an AMI or AMS diploma and it does not by itself qualify you to run a Montessori classroom. What it does give you is a genuine working understanding of the child, the psychology underneath the method, and a Montessori environment you can set up and present properly.

No. The practical work is demonstrated with real Montessori equipment as well as with the household substitutes we recommend for home, so nothing has to be imported or bought in to follow along. Bring a notebook.

English, with Urdu explanations whenever they help, the same way we run all our sessions.

No. This is an educational course for adults, not psychotherapy, diagnosis or treatment for a child. If month two raises something about your own child that deserves proper attention, our clinical team in Karachi does developmental assessments and child therapy, and we will point you to the right person.

Pay the registration fee, then open the registration page, fill the short form and attach your payment screenshot. You can also ask us anything first on WhatsApp. Seats are capped because month three is hands-on.
